Valentines Day Is Almost Here

February 14th – Valentines Day -  looms ever closer and there are some that dread this time of year. They feel the pressure to present an acceptable gift to their loved one and are always unsure whether they have it right or not.

Well, for all the lovers out there, trust me, it’s not complicated. A gift given, whatever it’s size or cost, as long as it is given in love and not begrudgingly, will be well received. Now flowers are a popular choice and indeed a florists favourite time of year but do you know what? It’s my favourite time to be recieving flowers too. The bouquets available this time of year are just amazing!

Of course, red roses are the traditional flower of choice for Valentines Day but not neccessarily everybodys favourite. Myself, I’m quite partial to a beautiful bunch of Gerberas but when I searched the internet, I came across 1800flowers who really seem to have excelled themselves this year!

Roses, Lillies, Gerberas and Tulips in the most amazing presentations with a choice of adding soft toys or ribbons and bows are available – in fact, it seems a bit of a shame to just send these on Valentines Day so if you have an event coming up I would seriously suggest you take a look at these gorgeous flowers.

Beautifully decorated, chocolate dipped strawberries are also on offer and these are a brilliant new addition. There are very few women in the world that don’t enjoy chocolate and very few women that won’t be concerned about their weight so why not show how much notice you take of her concerns and how much you care with a chocolate covered presentation of strawberries – we get the chocolate fix but with a fraction of the calories!

Cookies, wine, sweets and cakes all make great tasty treats for Valentines Day so why not slip a few in with her favourite flowers and make her feeltotally spoilt, indulged and completely loved.
