There’s no doubt about it – there’s something about a man in a suit and tie. They look professional, capable and full of self respect.
Ties finish off an outfit. Without a tie a suit is just jacket and trousers, it looks like no effort has been made and the wearer couldn’t be bothered. I’d always trust a man in a tie!
I asked the men in my office about their ties – there are all types here from comical ones to plain and serious to a formal stripe. However, all the men felt the same way. they felt that wearing a tie made them feel ready for work, ready for action and far more professional. It’s also a lot more fulfilling to get home from work and take the tie off – it’s like turning off from work mode – a proper signal to the brain that they can now switch off and relax into the evening.
