Flowers
I’m in my second marriage and I have to say it’s a revelation after the first one! This husband sends me the most beautiful flowers for birthdays, Christmas, anniveraries and sometimes, which are the best times, just because.
Nobody has ever bought me flowers before and what is so unusual about this man is that he really puts thought into it. He specifies colours and types – he is a keen gardener so knows a little about what he’s talking about. For Valentines Day I recieved the most gorgeous bouquet of deep red roses, gerberas, lillies and some greenery. They were beautifully wrapped and adorned with red twirly ribbons. I have now made a point of keeping all the different coloured ribbons so I can reminisce about these gorgeous gifts and I also like to take a photo and keep a flower to press.
It may sound a little obssessive but after years of not getting any at all I truly appreciate these little surprises.
