If there was ever a new business to get into during these trying times of economic crisis, its one where you are able to measure the pupillary distance of people eyes. It sounds like a simple job but its an important one. Without this measurement, it is very difficult and almost impossible to get eyeglasses that suit your eyes exactly.
Now high street opticians can do this job and always do as part of their routine when doing eye examinations. However, while they pass on your prescription to you they will not give you the details of this measurement. Why? Because they do not want you to go and buy your glasses from an online retailer. They say it is to protect you but most people think it is to protect the opticians themselves.
